La compétition officielle
Tout le monde peut poser sa candidature. Chaque artiste ou groupe (peu importe le nombre) crée une œuvre, la filme et la soumet au comité de sélection. Il remplit le formulaire de candidature et joint 35 € de droit d'inscription. Le comité de sélection retiendra un maximum de 40 œuvres parmi les candidatures. Les principaux critères de sélection sont: signifiance artistique du contenu (histoire, thème, exploration gestuelle, etc). Démonstration d’une relation entre l'écriture d'auteur et les moyens artistiques (style de patinage, trame sonore, mise en scène, chorégraphie, etc) utilisés pour exprimer le contenu de l’œuvre. Mise en valeur du patinage à travers le déploiement des moyens artistiques. Démonstration d’un style personnel original ou d’une virtuosité dans un style existant.
Les invités hors concours
-5°C SUR SCÈNE invitera des artistes et des collectifs professionnels de réputation internationale. Ils seront rémunérés par le festival. Ils présenteront des œuvres hors-concours de 90 minutes max. Dans la soirée de clôture nous verrons des extraits de leurs œuvres aux cotés des lauréats de la compétition officielle. Déposez votre candidature si vous souhaitez être L'INVITE !
Le Jury
Comme dans tous les festivals d’arts vivants, l’évaluation des œuvres sera confiée à la sensibilité artistique et à la subjectivé d’un jury rassemblé par l’organisation du festival. En art, l’objectivité et les compétitions strictes n’existent pas. La valeur des récompenses accordées par un festival artistique repose sur la qualité de son jury. M. Paul Duchesnay, sera membre du jury. Avec sa sœur et partenaire Isabelle, Isabelle et Paul Duchesnay ont été champions du monde de danse sur glace en 1991 et vice-champion olympique en 1992. Paul siegera aux côtés d'Alexandre Riccitelli et d'une professionnelle de la danse et du chant.

The official competition
Anyone can apply. The artist or group-skater (regardless of number) creates a work, videotape it and submit it to the selection committee with the application form and enclose € 35 as registration fee. The selection committee will retain 40 works from the applications. The main selection criteria are:
Artistic significance of the content (story, theme, exploring gestures, etc.). Demonstrating a relationship between writing and artistic means (skating style, soundtrack, staging, choreography, etc.) used to express the content of the work. Development of skating through the deployment of artistic means. Demonstrate an original personal style or a virtuosity in an existing style.
Guests out of competition
The festival will invite professional artists (soloists or groups) to participate out of competition. They will be paid by the festival. At -5°C SUR SCÈNE they will present a work of 90 minutes max. In the closing night they will present pieces of their works alongside the winners of the official competition. Submit your application if you want to be the GUEST !
The jury
As in all art festivals, the assessment works will be entrusted to the sensitivity and subjectivity of names distinguished panel. In art, objectivity and strict competition does not exist. The value of awards granted by an art festival is based on the quality of its jury. Paul Duchesnay, is a member of the jury. With his sister and partner Isabelle, Isabelle and Paul Duchesnay were world champions in ice dance in 1991 and Olympic silver medalist in 1992. Paul will sit alongside Alexander Riccitelli and a professional of dance and song.
